We have loved living at 1 Simeon Howard Way for the past 6 years. We had lived in the Westborough area for the previous 3 years before deciding to settle permanently in the area. Our biggest criteria for a home were a neighborhood that gave our kids access to great schools, had lots of kids, a community development that had big parks and play areas where our kids could run around and be safe not worrying about traffic. Westborough Village was one of the best neighborhoods that gave us that environment and continues to be so in the area.
Speaking of the Westborough Village community, we are surrounded by many wonderful people. We have made so many lifelong friends that are still here and all new residents have always been welcomed by everyone in the neighborhood.
Our two kids (10 & 7) have made many friends and are always looking forward to spending time outside in one of the 4 big parks in the community, with one being directly accessible from our deck.
On summer days, we would sit on our deck watching our kids play in the park with so many of their friends, making it such a pleasant and calming experience. We also have grandparents that would visit regularly and even they had formed their inner circle of friends in the time they spent within our community.
For the location of our home within the community, it’s a step away to the clubhouse, the mailbox and the community swimming pool. One of the biggest perks was the school bus that comes right outside the clubhouse, which meant no excessive planning for leaving at a particular time to catch the bus. This has always been particularly beneficial during winter months.
From the perspective of commuting to work, the home is walkable distance to the train station which would take you to South Station. The home is also a 5-minute drive to most big grocery chains. For kid activities, there are tons of classes available, all within a 5-10 minute drive from the home. All this gave us the flexibility to manage our schedules with great ease.
We always planned to live in this home for the longest time, so we have taken utmost care in maintaining the house. There is tons of sunlight and there are many windows throughout the home. We have a Canton model, which is an open concept model that gives you the opportunity to either keep it open when you have larger gatherings at home or make multiple cozy sitting areas. The house has 800+ square feet of open space in the basement which could be finished adding lot more space.
We hope you stay for long and enjoy this beautiful home as much as we did during our stay. The house and the community are designed to give you access to a modern designed home and a safe and friendly neighborhood. We loved our life here and think you will as well.
